Just a walk around the grounds. We're lucky to have such a wonderful barn to keep all our
horses, rabbits, dogs, and cat in. Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies. Mark raises the
vegetables and keeps everything in tip top shape!
Although taken in different seasons, this is what you see when you pull in the
driveway. Only takes a minute to put some coffee on for visitors!
In November 2006 Mark finished the newest run-in shed. It's in the front so it opens more all day
pasture possibilities. It's perfect for new foals and for the fillies to be a pasture away from the
stallion once spring arrives. In this winter of 2007--it was fabulous not to have to walk to the back
pasture on below 0 mornings. Oh happy day!!
The back pastures: I designed the run in shed that straddles the fence so everyone
feels like part of the herd, even if separated. Then it became the shed that Mark built!
Here's Mark helping with wheelbarrow
dumping!
My job is filling them!
Sides below: This is what I see when I walk inside the
barn from the sliding door pictured above. Jazz is
there on the left. The mares are on the right in the
first stalls, and the fillies are back on the right. I tie
the gates open like that at night so the fillies can
walk around and talk to their mamas.
It's so cozy in here. My forum name is "barnbum." Can
you see why?
Garden photos.
This is the perfect run in area for anyone in this pasture.
